Animals In Need of a Foster Home

2019 has been a record setting year for animals needing rescue, especially kittens and puppies.   We are contacted daily with requests to take a stray or unwanted animal but we can only take in animals if we have a foster home to place them in.

The animals on this page are in need of a foster home before CAPA can take them into our program.  If you are interested in fostering one of these animals and are not already an approved foster, please complete our foster application and then someone from CAPA will contact you.

CAPA covers all vet and medical expenses for their foster animals and can usually provide a crate, food and other needed items .

Valentine is good with cats, dogs and people. Her family is moving and can’t take her with them so we are looking for a foster home for her.
This dog has shown up at someone’s house and it’s owner cannot be found so we are looking for a foster home for him.
Juniper and Magnolia are in need of a foster home. The get along with other dogs but need to be fed separately from other dogs.
Doogie is a male, good with other dogs and very friendly with people.
Buck is heeler/box mix, good with other dogs and people.

These kittens are in need of a foster home. They appear to have an upper respiratory infection. CAPA will cover the cost of vet care and medicine but they need a foster family who can administer meds an give them some TLC.
